NYIIX allows multiple ways to access our Peering Exchange. Connecting from Japan to NYIIX is easy. NYIIX Los Angeles is connected to JPIX providing seamless peering between Japan and the US. A JPIX member has the option to become an NYIIX Los Angeles member. We work closely with the end-user to ensure the setup fits their unique needs. 126.96.36.199/24 for IPv4 peering, and 2001:0504a::a50x:xxxx:x /64 for IPv6 peering
In the traditional local peering approach, you will need to install your equipment in one of the data centers where NYIIX LA has deployed its metro infrastructure.
Additionally, to manage peering you will need to also manage additional suppliers for your transport and colocation.
